Heather writes about the magic in technology. She’s an accomplished journalist who has covered politics and foreign affairs on the ground and now she researches battles in cyberspace.

As Cynja CEO she leads strategy, business development, finance, marketing, and operations. Heather also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Sense about Science USA and recently became Chairman Emeritus for the National Press Foundation.

She’s an Oregonian living in Washington, DC.

Heather earned a B.A. from Willamette University, a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University, and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University.

She’s a proud geek girl and never shares her USB drive with anyone.
